Born in mozambique, grew up in portugal and later moved to the united kingdom, where she still resides.

Natercia fell in love with fashion during her adolescence when she realized that could not be a veterinarian in the future, as she was

not very good at science (she thought). In the uk, she faced immense difficulties, starting with the absence of family members(because she was alone), the difference of language and cultures, dyslexia and depression, and then mother of two. Along the way, she gave up on some things and on some dreams, but with the help of good friends that she made over the years, she pulled herself together and managed to complete at least one of her goals(graduated from the fashion university) in 2020.

I was inspired by the dance called Ussua from São Tomé and Príncipe country. I really liked that particular dance and the simple way of women dressing. I'm very proud to be a woman, and I admire my mother's effort, the difficulties my grandparents went through as it's not easy but we always manage to do something, whether for our children or for the family and we are always the last to remember to take care of ourselves.

    Some pieces I've done are named after a real woman, women who somehow have meaning to me, women who had impact on my life.
